childfree woman

Everybody loves Marie Forleo, is impossible not to. Even Oprah Winfrey said about her: “She’s the thought leader for the next generation.”

Someone introduced me to her MarieTV videos a couple of years ago when I was struggling with many aspects of my life, and I’ve been her fan since then. For those of you who don’t know about her yet, according to Wikipedia, Marie Forleo is an American life coach, motivational speaker, author and web television host of Marie TV. She is the owner of Marie Forleo International, B-School, and MarieTV. However, I like more her own description: “I’m Marie. An entrepreneur, writer, philanthropist & unshakable optimist dedicated to helping you become the person you most want to be.”

More than a year ago, I was watching one of her videos where she shortly commented something like: “Yeah, my husband and I decided not to have kids and we are perfect like that.” Those probably weren’t her exact words, but it got stuck in my mind. I felt like I couldn’t love her anymore. I thought, Yes! Another Childfree happy and prosperous woman in the world, that’s remarkable!

As my project of this website, was close to coming to life at the beginning of this year, I decided after reading reviews and reached out to her team asking many questions, to join her well known online program B-School in March. I also must admit that thanks to her program, I launched ChildfreeLove.

I even had the privilege of talking with her over the phone during the training, and I could ask her personally for some advice and suggestions about this website. She listened to me attentively and kindly shared with me her valuable knowledge. I was so nervous to be on the phone with such an important and inspiring person, however, she ended our conversation saying:

“Angie, you’re so sweet… …I’m really excited for you, I’m excited for your site, I’m excited for the reaction that you’re getting, and I’m really excited for you to take that step back, and take a look at the business, and really put in a revenue model that’s going to work for you. Thank you Angie, thank you so much.”

I really felt so lucky of having the chance to talk with her but wait, why am I writing a post about her? Well, she has a new episode of MarieTV every Tuesday, and you need to watch today’s video, whether you’re Childfree or still undecided about having kids (aka fence-sitters).

I really hope you love this episode as much as I did because, besides her wisdom, she’s hilarious and I love her sense of humor!

With Love♥
